09:00 After breakfast, start our tour in the morning head to Cu Chi Tunnels, a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign tourists - the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. Before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed.
10:30 You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war). Then get back to our car to return to Saigon.
In the afternoon, visit:
- Independence Palace
- Notre-dame cathedral basilica of Saigon
- Saigon central post office
End of the tour, return to your hotel
Overnight in HCM city

Depart at 09:00 am from from Saigon through rice paddies and small villages to My Tho which is referred locally as “the rice bowl of Vietnam”. (70km ~ 1.5 hours)
Upon arrival, cruising along small creek to Mekong River estuary, to Con Phung (Phoenix Island). The motorized boat cruise more along natural creeks and quiet village in Ben Tre Province.
In the afternoon, en-route visit a small factory producing handicrafts made of coconut. Visit orchards, bee - keeping farm, taste natural honey and honey wine, enjoy tropical fruit, traditional music, see round a distillery, explore the local coconut candy production process, taste candy & coconut pulp. Come back to Saigon in the afternoon.
